My GP, Dr.Ansari is both experienced and articulate enough to know my problems and due to excellent listening skills and intuition we always work out an agreeable action plan. Most colleagues envy my confidence in this respect. Highly recommended .

I have taken this digestive treatment for nearly twenty years . Starting with 10 mg for the first ten and now on 20mg. I could not go without it. A very effective treatment.

I found the effect of taking this drug was not immediate but a gradual improvement over a couple of weeks was noticed, it's important, if you have no severe side effects, to keep taking the drug to gain the full benefit.

it must be taken first thing in the morning prior to other medicines. I does what in Victorian days was called putting a lining on your stomach. It will help decrease the side effects of other medicines

Profile

Omeprazole is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux, ulcers). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. It relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. This medication helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus. Omeprazole belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).
